💙 First Meeting of the New School Term! 💙

📣 Parents, we’d love to see you there!

Our first Parents Association meeting of the new school term takes place next Tuesday 13th at 8pm, and we’d love to welcome as many parents as possible.

Whether you’ve been involved before or are thinking of getting involved for the first time, everyone is welcome! It’s a great opportunity to share ideas, hear about what’s planned for the year ahead, and help make a difference for our children and school. 🏫💙

You don’t need to commit to anything huge, every little bit of support makes a difference!

Come along, get involved and be part of our school community. We hope to see you there! 😊

It was fantastic to see our pupils getting involved, enjoying the competition and representing Cong NS with such enthusiasm, teamwork and great sporting spirit. 🌟

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Cross Country 2026! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Well done to all the 3rd–6th Class pupils who took part in the South Mayo Cross Country competition at Ballinrobe Racecourse! 👏💙

A special congratulations to Daithí Doyle, who went on to represent Cong NS at the County Mayo Finals and put in another fantastic performance! 🏅👏

We’re so proud of all the children for getting involved, giving it their best and showing great team spirit and determination. 💙

🎨☀️ A Creative Morning at Cong NS! 🌿💙

We were delighted to see our Junior Infants to Second Class children taking part in a wonderful Creative Schools workshop with Creative Associate Isbeal.

The Creative Schools programme, supported by the Arts Council, encourages children to explore and experience creativity and the arts in new and exciting ways. 🎨🎭🎶

The children discovered cyanotype (sun printing) and created beautiful artwork using natural materials, as well as colourful nature rubbings. ☀️🍃

A fantastic morning of exploring, experimenting and creating! A huge thank you to Isbeal for inspiring our young artists. 💙
