A terrific fundraiser yesterday evening in St Kieran’s Hall on behalf the new community playground project with Cloughjordan Community Playground Development . The poker classic raised €1570 in total including a €100 donation from Gary Curley Clough Inn👍

A huge thanks to Vinny Butler and D&D Poker for organising the event👏👏
Thank you very much also to Cloughjordan & Borrisokane Union of Parishes for the use of St Kieran’s and a big thank you to Peter Murphy’s Quick Pick , Austin's Centra Cloughjordan and Gulan’s for providing food and refreshments. We would like to take a group photo of adults and children in support of the playground project at the proposed playground site on Saturday May 9th at 7pm all are welcome, it will take no longer than 10 minutes. Please come along if you're free we want this photo to really represent the great need for a playground in cloughjordan

Have you heard about the Tús programme ??

Tús is a community work placement, providing short-term working opportunities for unemployed people since 2011.

The Tús initiative is managed by local development companies for the department of social protection, which has the overall responsibility for the scheme. North Tipperary Development Company manages the Tús initiative for the North Tipperary region.

To be eligible to participate on the Tús program you must:

Be currently in receipt of job seeker allowance or Benefit
Be in receipt of payment for 12 months, this claim can be broken for 30 days only within the 12-month period to be eligible.
