Thanks to everyone who attended Borderlicious The Market Clonmellon. Your support keeps the market going. If no one buys from small, independent businesses, there is no market, a market that has become so integral to our village. We will see you all on the 23rd August! For information.....

*Committee Formation in Response to Proposed Solar Farm & Battery Storage Development*

Following the recent news of proposed solar farm and battery storage developments in the Clonmellon, Kilskyre and Killallon area, a local community committee is being formed.

The committee will work to understand the information available, engage with the planning process, gather accurate facts, review the proposals in detail, and consider any issues or concerns that may affect our local community.

While we support the transition to renewable energy, we also believe it is important that the interests, wellbeing and priorities of our local communities are fully considered throughout the process.

If you would like to join the committee and take up an active role, please email [email protected] or attend our open public meeting to join the committee committed to reviewing this proposal in the best interests of the community.
