W would like to say a huge thank you to Emily Farrell Lauren Fitzgerald and Ronan Walsh for organising a wonderful fundraising event for CARE Cancer Support Centre on Saturday the 15th August at 37 Queen Street. The Musical Bingo event proved to be a huge success and everyone who attended said it was one of the most enjoyable fun nights they had experienced in a long time The event was a huge success with €1300 being raised to support the work of CARE. The organisers, Emily, Lauren and Ronan would sincerely like to thank everyone who came on the night in such large numbers. A special word of thanks to the management and staff of 37 Queen Street for their hospitality and kindness in hosting the event. The one and only Mr Ken Horne did a wonderful job as MC on the night. The success of the night was due in no small way to the very kind local businesses who donated some lovely spot prizes for the raffle, a special thanks to:

Just to let you know the CARE centre will close for our annual summer leave from 17th August until 9th September. We are very grateful for the support from our community over the past few months. The fabulous Busking Festival will be keeping us all entertained in Clonmel this weekend. Some of us will be around with our buckets raising funds for CARE. As you know we rely on our generous community to keep the doors open at CARE Cancer Support Centre . Every cent is appreciated. Enjoy the music and have a great weekend in Clonmel. ❤️

We were delighted to welcome committee members of Wilderness Rovers Football Club to our Centre. As part of their 30th Anniversary celebrations a very special charity match was organised between former club members and the current group of players. It was a most enjoyable event and it was made even more special as we in CARE were nominated as the beneficial charity. Included in the photo are Dean McGrath, Liz O'Sullivan and Catherine Waters at the presentation of the proceeds of the event which amounted to a very generous €530.00. We would like to wish Wilderness Rovers continued success both on and off the pitch. They are very much rooted in the community and great credit is due to all the committee and members for their tireless work in providing such a vital service to so many people. Thank you all again from all the team here in CARE.

We would like to say a very special thank you to everyone who came to our Coffee Morning last Thursday. We were delighted with the huge turnout on the day and that everyone enjoyed the opportunity to sit and have a chat over a cuppa and a nice treat. It is always lovely to have friends drop into our Centre for these occasions. Thanks again and we look forward to the next event.
