🎸 ENTER THE NIGHT // LIVE ON KICKHAM PLAZA! 🌙

Something very special has been brewing in Tipperary this summer…

Meet 'Wannabe Frank'✨
Nine young Tipperary musicians, aged 16 to 25, have been coming together as the 'Enter The Night Supergroup', working with Musical Director Stephen McGrath Bass (CrowBlackChicken & Music Generation Tipperary) to arrange, write and create a one-off live performance for Culture Night, this September 18th.

And they won't be doing it alone…

✨ Guest Artist-Mentors
🎤 Sarah Corcoran - Pillow Queens
🎸 Cathal Mac Gabhann - The Altered Hours
🎤 MayKay — Fight Like Apes/ Le Galaxie

The mentors will share their experience with the young musicians throughout the programme before joining them on stage to perform their own original material backed by the Supergroup, Wannabe Frank ✨

The night will also feature emerging local acts, a promenade performance from Stagecraft in collaboration with Clonmel Junction Arts Festival's Tom Campell masks, and a huge finale bringing the Supergroup, guest artists, Stagecraft and Clonmel Community Choir together on one stage. 🎭🎶

📍 Kickham Plaza, Clonmel
📅 Friday, September 18th
⏰ 9–11pm
🎟️ FREE & ALL AGES

Be there for one night, one stage, and a new generation of Tipperary musicians. 🔥

Enter The Night 2026 is funded by The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon through the Culture Night Late Strand 1 programme and Tipperary Arts Office, and delivered in partnership with Music Generation Tipperary, Stagecraft Youth Theatre, Tipperary Battle of the Bands, Clonmel Junction Arts Festival and Clonmel Community Choir. Drop into The Platform in the Showgrounds Shopping Centre between 10am and 5pm on Thursdays and Fridays to collect colouring pages and link to the QR code for the StoryMap or click the link above to read more about the history surrounding us in our everyday lives.

We'd love to hear your thoughts - there's enormous potential to build on the StoryMap and develop commemorative and creative projects about the siege at locations throughout the town with walking tours, re-enactments and interpretations of the conflict and its legacy.
