Some of the projects Ballybacon, Newcastle & Ballymacarbry Community Employment Scheme is involved with on a continuing basis.
🔸 Work with the tidy towns committee & complete projects with them.
🔸 Maintain all approach roads verges and margins.
🔸 Clean and maintain all roadside signage.
🔸 Maintain GAA grounds.
🔸 Admin assistants in Newcastle & Ballymacarbry Community Centres.
🔸 Help with fencing a

nd safety works around projects.
🔸 Restore agricultural machinery that otherwise would be lost forever.
🔸 Maintain roadside drainage and litter control.
🔸 Administration assistant for Tig na nDaoine (Community House).
🔸 Caretakers & Childcare Assistant in Naíonra Chaisleáin Nua.
🔸 Admin assistant in Newcastle Community Alert.
🔸 Build and maintain any concrete flowerbeds and stonework cleaning.
🔸 Maintain public monuments, parks, picnic areas and riverwalks. This is just a general list but we are involved with lots more projects and maintenance works.

Thanks to, Jimmy, Tony, Noel and Anthony for working in the rain today to get the tree and crib up and to Laurence McCarra for the forklift and James McGrath for the straw.
