We, the volunteers of Cairde (Friends of) Clonakilty Community Hospital, the official charity of this wonderful facility, would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported our Annual Flag Day on Saturday.

We were overwhelmed by the amazing generosity, kindness, and community spirit shown throughout the day. Your support means so much to us and, most importantly, to the elderly residents of Clonakilty Community Hospital. Every euro raised goes directly towards enhancing the quality of life of our residents and supporting projects that make a real difference to their daily lives.

A huge thank you to Sinead O’Crowley of Aris Café (An Sugan, Seafood Bar & Restaurant )for providing refreshments throughout the day for all of our volunteers.
The beautiful coffees, teas, and absolutely delicious coffee cake were so appreciated and kept everyone going. A special thank you also to the amazing, friendly staff who looked after everyone with such warmth and kindness.
It was yet another wonderful example of the generosity, support, and community spirit we experienced during our Flag Day. We are incredibly grateful for your support.

Halfway through our Annual Flag Day, and we are absolutely blown away by the incredible support we have received.

The generosity of people has been truly heartwarming, with so many stopping to donate and show their support for Cairde Clonakilty Community Hospital and our wonderful residents.

A huge thank you to all of our volunteers who have given their time, energy, and enthusiasm throughout the day. We simply couldn’t do it without you.

The sunscreen is on and the smiles are out as we enjoy this fabulous weather, making a great day even better!

Tomorrow Saturday 18th is our Annual Flag Day for Cairde Clonakilty Community Hospital, a day we look forward to every year.

We love the buzz around the town as volunteers and supporters come together for a cause that means so much to so many.

We are always touched by the generosity of our community, with every donation, no matter how small, helping to make a meaningful difference.

Most of all, we cherish the wonderful sense of community that shines through on Flag Day, as people come together to support the elderly residents of our hospital.

Every euro collected goes directly towards enhancing the quality of life of our residents and helping us continue to provide the best possible care in this wonderful hospital.

Thank you to everyone who donates, volunteers, and supports us. Your kindness and community spirit make all the difference.

A huge congratulations to Ryan Harte of Atlantic Fitness Gym, Skibbereen, who recently completed an incredible 50km ultra marathon in support of two very deserving local causes – Skibbereen Community Hospital and the Dementia Unit at Clonakilty Community Hospital. Thanks to Ryan’s determination, generosity, and the support of the local community, an outstanding €1,957 was presented to each charity.
On behalf of Cairde Clonakilty Community Hospital, the official charity linked to the hospital, we extend our sincere thanks to Ryan and everyone who contributed to this fantastic fundraising effort.
