Information that everyone needs to know. Sometimes its hard to think about the things that can go wrong with our children's health and safety, but knowledge is power and may save a life.
These courses are led sympathetically and comprehensively by Noreen Mahoney from Safehands First Aid Training.

Do a course with your partner, or a grandparent or babysitter, or by yourself, but make sure everyone looking after your children has up to date first aid knowledge. Regular training every couple of years is ideal to embed the essential skills you should have, but hopefully will never need.

Talk with practical demonstrations of techniques, a chance to use the CPR dummies and practise procedures to remove blockages from airways and prevent choking in babies and children.
Also covers what to do in the event of burns, scalds, cuts and bumps, high fever and seizures. Essential and lifesaving skills that every parent and carer should have.

Now the kids are all back to school and sorted out, why not take a little time for yourself and book in to Mel's singing 1 to 1, see what your voice can do, sing for yourself, for wellbeing or for the next family get together.
