❄️ Getting Ready for Winter ❄️

Preparing our homes for the colder months is so important. Good attic insulation helps to keep valuable heat inside, making homes warmer, more comfortable and more energy-efficient.

Here is a recent attic insulation upgrade carried out through Clár ICH—helping another household prepare for the winter ahead. 🏡

A wonderful day at the Mayo Older People’s Council AGM & Information Day 💚

Yesterday, the team at Clár ICH was delighted to attend the Mayo Age Friendly / Mayo Older People’s Council AGM and Information Day at the TF Royal Hotel in Castlebar.

It was a fantastic opportunity to meet and connect with older people from across Mayo, along with local organisations, service providers and advocates, while sharing information and raising awareness of the supports available in our communities.

The day included a great variety of speakers, information stands, gentle exercise, advocacy discussions and, most importantly, plenty of opportunities for conversation and connection.

A big thank you to Mayo Age Friendly and everyone involved in organising such an informative and enjoyable event. It was wonderful to see so many people coming together to support and promote positive ageing across Mayo.

Clár ICH was delighted to be part of it! 👏💚

I especially like changing “older members of our community” to “older people from across Mayo” — it sounds warmer and fits the event nicely.
