This summer, our Red Cross unit is opening its doors to new members — and we would love to welcome anyone with a passion for helping others to join our team.
Being part of the Red Cross is more than volunteering — it’s about community, friendship, service, and making a real difference when people need it most.
The summer months are one of our busiest and most enjoyable times of the year. From community events and outdoor activities to training opportunities and teamwork, there is something for everyone. New members are always supported, encouraged, and welcomed into a positive and inclusive environment.
Any qualification relevant in first aid,or simply interested in volunteering your time and skills, we would be delighted to hear from you. Training is also provided.
This is also open to nurses, EMTs and paramedics. Joining our unit is a fantastic way to keep your clinical skills active, gain valuable experience, meet like-minded people, and give back to the community — all while having fun along the way.

Well done today to all the EMT students who completed there OSCEs especially Laura and Brídin.
