🎨 A big thank you to Dani Bueno and all the wonderful participants who joined our Acrylic Painting Workshop at Claremorris Family Resource Centre!

Over the past weeks, participants explored their creativity, learned step-by-step painting techniques, and created beautiful artwork, including our lovely "Fisherman in a boat" project. It has been a pleasure to see so much talent, enthusiasm, and creativity throughout the course.

Due to the great success of this workshop, we are delighted to announce that the course will be running again from next week!

If you would like to discover your creative side, learn new skills, and enjoy a welcoming and inspiring environment, keep an eye out for the new dates and join us for another fantastic painting journey.

Did you know that students who sit their written Leaving Certificate exams in Irish can get bonus marks? 📝
This does not apply to exams for:
👉 English
👉 Irish
👉 Other foreign languages
If you get less than 75% of the total marks in a subject, like geography, you can get bonus marks at the rate of 10% of your marks.
For other subjects, like maths or accounting, you can get 5% bonus marks.
You cannot get bonus marks if you answer part of the exam in English.

👣 ONE STEP AT A TIME – Claremorris Men's Health Awareness Event 👣

As part of Men's Health Awareness Week, we are delighted to partner with Claremorris Men's Shed to host "One Step at a Time" on Friday, June 19th at 12:30pm in The Square, Claremorris.

This promises to be a fun, engaging and informative community event focused on health, wellbeing and connection. There will be something for everyone, including:

ou can claim a tax credit for your rental payments. 🏠
The Rent Tax Credit reduces your income tax by the amount of the credit and is:
👉€1,000 for an individual
👉€2,000 for a couple who are jointly assessed for tax
If you haven’t claimed this credit before, you can claim it for the last 4 years. Though remember, the Rent Tax Credit is less for 2022 and 2023.
You can’t claim the credit if you are in social housing or getting a housing support payment, like HAP.
