Claremorris Sporting and Wildlife Claremorris Sporting and Wildlife Club are a group of volunteers who have a love for the countryside and the outdoor life.

Game shooters have a vested interest in investing in conservation and ensuring that the game species which they hunt are cared for and that their populations are not threatened. This means that game shooters spend more on non-hunting conservation work than any other enviromental group and all of this comes from our own pockets. It is because of the activities of game shooters, together with farmer

s and anglers, that the landscape which we enjoy today in Ireland/ Claremorris exists at all. Claremorris Sporting and Wildlife Club have taking on a huge project over the last few years working on breeding Grey Leg geese along with Mallard Duck and Pheasants on the Clare Lake grounds. These grounds are a paradise for fowl and we are so lucky to have this in our area. This is turning out to be a huge sucess and hopefully it will continue.
