On the 20th of June 2026 our very own Johnny Monaghan is taking part in a charity cycle in memory of Saoirse Duggan. Saoirse was a 3yr old girl from Claremorris who unfortunately passed away in June 2025 from Leukaemia. Saoirse was an Honoury Garda in Little Blue Heroes and was Johnny’s blue buddy.

Johnny is taking part in Chase The Sun, an International event. He will start his Cycle at sunrise (04.45hrs) from Belfast and he has to chase the sun for the day and arrive in Enniscrone by sunset (22.15hrs). This will be a total of 340km in the one sitting.

It’s been a whirlwind of a week! ✨

Last weekend, we attended the National Youth Awards as a club, with the lovely Simona representing us and to nobody’s surprise, she came home with the award for Host of the Year alongside the equally deserving Tegan from Finglas No Name Club 🏆

It was a brilliant night and we couldn’t be prouder of Simona. From the very beginning, we knew she would be a fantastic representative for our club and she absolutely proved that.

Simona, we hope you’re enjoying all the celebrations and recognition coming your way, you truly deserve it! 💙
