Tonight we presented a cheque to Charleville Tidy Towns from the proceeds of the walk/run on St Stephens Day. We are delighted to help them with their excellent work in the community.

Fantastic morning this morning for our walk and run in aid of Charleville Tidy Towns . A brilliant turnout. Big thanks to our volunteers from the Lions ( Sean for the mulled wine , Bev for the help with refreshments, Jim , Syl, John , Jerry, Nick, Peter , the two Pats and Joe ) for stewarding . Aine, Ian and the Tidy Towns committee for registration. Our other voluntary stewards, William Casey for the Vale Star photos , Ben and Tony from Charleville Gardai and most importantly of all the people who participated in the walk and run for not only taking part but donating generously too. Great community spirit. Thanks everyone and seasons greeting and a happy 2026 to you all.

Some of the players at Charleville Golf Club today. The annual Charleville Lions Club Golf Classic, this years prime beneficiaries are Marymount and Milford Hospices. Many thanks to all the teams and many sponsors too. We had numerous generous sponsors of non playing teams, tee boxes and donations.

Charleville Lions Club members recently supported St. Joseph's Foundation Golf Classic. A great cause and a great time had by all.
