A great memory from this day last year at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann! Fleadh 2026 is well underway here in Belfast with competitions taking place over the next three days. Safe journey to all making the trip this weekend and the very best of luck to all those competing. Fleadh agus Maigh Eo Abú! 💚🎶❤️

Hup! We were delighted to get the opportunity to perform on the Fleadh Gig Rig here in Wexford last night, what a fantastic experience. Thanks to all the vocal support in the crowd, we even spotted a Mayo flag!

Connacht Champion! Congrats to our own Emily Rooney on winning today’s Senior Ladies English Singing title and becoming the inaugural recipient of the Mae Reynolds trophy. Pictured here with her proud mother and our Branch Chairperson Ann Marie. All roads now lead to Belfast where Emily will compete in the All Ireland Fleadh in a few weeks time. Hup! 🎶

Huge congrats to our own Daniel Towey who was placed 3rd in the U12 Banjo at the Connacht Fleadh 2026, Mohill. A fantastic achievement for his first year competing. Thanks to all who attended our family music session this morning in the Thatch. We were delighted to be joined by Comhaltas National Youth Officer Breege Gleeson; alongside Edel Fleming and her pupils from St. Brigid’s NS Tooreen following their recent performance at the National Concert Hall. All the musicians were delighted to accompany a surprise set by a group of Gráinne Kelly-Frayne‘s set dancers. Hup! 🎶
