"Eventually you will pay the price for the way you treated people."
It may not happen today. It may not happen tomorrow. But life has a way of making sure that what you put out into the world comes back to you. The pain you caused, the lies you told, the hearts you broke, the trust you shattered—it all adds up. You might smile now, thinking you got away with it. You might be surrounded by people who believe your version of the story. But the truth has a way of surviving, even when it’s buried under manipulation and denial.

You treated people like they were disposable. You used their kindness as a weakness and took advantage of their love. You played the victim when you were the villain, and you left behind a trail of broken souls who only wanted to love and support you. But one thing about this life—it doesn’t let injustice live forever. One day, when you find yourself needing the very things you destroyed in others—honesty, loyalty, compassion—you’ll feel the weight of every cruel word, every cold shoulder, every silent betrayal.

Karma doesn’t need an audience. It works silently, patiently. And when it arrives, it doesn’t just touch the surface—it goes straight to the core. You’ll remember every name, every face, every tear. And that’s when you’ll realize: hurting people never makes you strong, and stepping on others never gets you far. Because eventually, everything you gave—good or bad—comes right back to you.

*Wahala on EzeIgbo Ghana*

A section of anti Igbo among Yorubas and their conquerors in northern Nigeria are fuelling this homophobic feeling among Ghanaians. Among Nigerians dwelling in Osagyefo Nkrumah's land, Igbos are most productive and employers of labour.

Even though the Igbo cosmology recognise no King apart from Chukwu Okike, these diaspora Eze are more or less leaders or Onyendu in Igbo language. Confused and ignorant of the Igbo sociocultural and religious traditions, European colonizers and neocolonialists imposed this foreign institution of Eze for native administration.

Igbo are different from the rest of Nigeria. Every man is like king and demigod in his family. More so, there is always consensus before key decisions are passed. This is why democracy originated from Igbo land. It was copied by Europeans. If you belief that Africans are the first human creation then Igbo claims cannot be far from truth.

And as traditional republicans, sucessful Igbos are driving development, and often, in a trajectory that arouses suspicion, jelousy, resentment and more. However, in all these shenanigans, Igbo never invaded any territory? No, Igbo Odinala which is similar to what we often call the pentateuch forbids it. Some of these successful Igbos follow the post colonial development to crown themselves king with support from political forces at home, and in the diaspora. There was a case in Ireland in the early turn of this milennium, whereby Colonel Joseph Hannibal Achuzia of the blessed memory as Ohaneze Ndigbo Secretary General crowned Barr. Emeka Matthew Ezeani the Ezeigbo of Ireland in 2008.

As ancient people, Igbo proverbs capture all spectrum of living. So "ebe onye bi ka ọ na awachi" - where one dwell is home. The EzeIgbo conundrum can be sorted if Igbo worldview is understood. Even though the remote drivers and catalysts now regard it as a sociocultural malaise, it is also a structure that drive community development, propagation of aspects of the culture and protection of Igbos as an endangered people. Igbos are in danger because of their success in mercantilism, tech-knowledge which is unexpected by less confident Africans and those that see nothing good from the chocolate race. Further more, because they choose to restore Biafra which as a republic existed from 1967-1970. Africans must think deeply and explore ways and means that will bring fraternity and prosperity to all that dwell and love Africa.
