Big thanks to the Cavan Honorary Gardai who were on duty last night at the Cavan Crystal Hotel to welcome Danny to Cavan. After hiking Cuilcagh, mountain 24 on his 9th day, he met with H/Gardai Leon, Leah, Ryan and Aoife. Danny spent time chatting to the families about Little Blue Heroes and what being Honorary Gardai mean to them. Danny presented H/Garda Aoife with her uniform as Cavan’s newest Little Blue Hero. We also celebrated 2 birthdays. H/Garda Leah turns 15 today and H/Garda Ryan turns 10 today so the happiest of birthdays to them. We celebrated with presents and cake and the children received their wages for being on duty. A lovely evening was had by all.
