A huge thank you to everyone who joined us today at Castletown Community Centre for our Cruinniú na nÓg celebrations!

We had a fantastic day packed with creativity, fun and energy. From the fascinating Ice Cream Science Workshop to the brilliant Hip Hop Dance session with Bubble Lock, it was wonderful to see so many young people learning new skills, expressing themselves and having fun together.

Cruinniú na nÓg – Important Notice

Our Cruinniú na nÓg events taking place in Castletown Community Centre this Saturday coincide with the Joe McDonagh Cup Final.
If your child is currently booked into any of our activities but will now be attending the match instead, we would appreciate it if you could let us know as soon as possible. Some of our groups have waiting lists, and this will allow us to offer places to other children.

Thank you for your cooperation and support. We hope everyone enjoys a fantastic day, whether at the events or cheering on their team at the match!

Get ready to move, groove, and express yourself this Cruinniú na nÓg (June 6th) with high-energy hip-hop dance sessions designed just for young people!

Led by Laois’s own Bubble Lock, a choreographer and performer with over 15 years of experience, these workshops will introduce participants to the foundations of hip-hop—rhythm, grooves, and simple choreography—in a fun and supportive environment. Trained across Europe and the UK, Bubble Lock brings stage-ready energy and fresh, cutting-edge styles to every session.

Whether you're a complete beginner or already love to dance, this is your chance to build confidence, learn new moves, and connect with others through movement.

Session Times:

3:00 PM – Ages 9–12
4:00 PM – Ages 12–15
