Looking back on April and May just gone we would like to thank some people who kindly thought of Kerry Hospice when fundraising. Castleisland Mart organised a Duck race, Brownes Agri made Hospice the beneficiary of their open day and the children of Rang a sé in Gaelscoil Aogáin generously donated some of their confirmation money. Thank you all.

Good luck everyone

Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle 2026
Peddle For Palliative
The Kerry Hospice Foundation is delighted to announce that we are one of the main beneficiaries of the Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle in July 2026. We are inviting businesses, clubs and teams to take part in the cycle under our banner.

Each year thousands of cyclists take on this iconic route around the Ring of Kerry. It would be amazing if you can do so, while raising essential funds that help us provide Palliative Care and support to patients and families throughout Kerry and beyond.

Forming a company team is a fantastic opportunity to :
Promote employee well-being
Build team spirit and morale
Demonstrate your organisations commitment to local community

In 2017 Kerry Hospice opened a state of the art, 15 bedroom inpatient Palliative Care facility. We are operating at full capacity and rather than wait we brought forward plans to extend our services. This major upgrade to our facilities will not only add 5 extra bedrooms, but also a range of family and support spaces. Construction of the extra 5 beds started recently. This crucial development will cost in excess of 6.5 million euro.

This is where we need your help. We would love it if you can cycle for us, if this isn't practical, please support us in the form of sponsorship or other direct contributions. We are deeply grateful for your support.

Thank you.

Huge thanks to everyone who supported our Kerry Hospice Foundation collection at Aldi Ireland Castleisland today. It was so lovely to meet and chat with people. Yet again, we are amazed by the kindness and generosity of everyone. A huge thanks Aldi for giving us this opportunity and a word of thanks also from chairman Con Dennehy to all who gave their time to collect. We will post details of the proceeds in the coming days. All funds collected will, as always, remain in Kerry.
