Castleblayney Community Gardens Community gardens and allotments located at Drumillard, St. Marys Hospital & Muckno Street We have three community gardens.

Castleblayney Community Gardens & Allotments group are promoting the benefits of growing your own. We welcome people to join our group and enjoy the experience of learning how to grow fresh fruit, herbs and vegetables. We also rent out allotments to individuals at Eagle Ridge Gardens (off Black Island View, Drumillard Some are currently available to rent. The allotments and polytunnel are locate

d at the rear of Coogan's store and close to the children’s playground in Drumillard). Carrickmacross - Castleblayney Municipal Council has leased the Eagle Ridge Gardens site to our group. Support has come from a number of sources including Tús, GIY Ireland, Monaghan County Council and the Cavan Monaghan ETB.
