The Croagh Patrick Stakeholders Group has announced the recruitment of a new Project Coordinator to help support the ongoing management, protection and sustainable development of Irelandโ€™s iconic pilgrimage mountain, Croagh Patrick.

The newly created role will focus on coordinating annual path maintenance works, volunteer programmes, communications, community engagement and environmental protection initiatives on the mountain. The position is funded through the Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht together with Mayo County Council.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the long-term sustainability of Croagh Patrick, working closely with path maintenance teams, volunteers, local stakeholders and community groups.
