There is only one thing better than rehearsals and performing. It's presenting the local charities we raise money for thier cheques. The €1470 raised from our Summer Serenade Concert back in June was for Castlebar Voluntary Social Services. They do great work with Meals on Wheels and rely heavily on the support of fundraisers.
The money we raised is going towards vehicle support/repair as one of thier main transports has broken down and they require a new one!

SO THANK YOU to all who came and supported. We now look forward to our Winter Concerts. More about that later. 🙂

So last Wednesday we did a thing. Midwest Radio asked if we could be a part of their morning show with . To sing a few songs and be part of the discussion on combating loneliness through the Arts. The show went out live from The Linenhall, Castlebar

There is so so much out there, listen back to the show to hear of all the wonderful things happening in Mayo that you can join and be part of.

It has often been mentioned by folk that BellaCapella not only can produce Choral Concerts, but that there is also other artistic talents within our ranks. Soloists, actors, and many who play an array of instruments.

Laine Nigule-Belenusa is one such member. She took on the Christchurch Organ at our Summer Serenade Concert playing the beautiful;

Paul F.Page Interlude No.354

Enjoy.
