A huge congratulations to our wonderful Miriam Byrne, who represented Flourish and The Family Centre yesterday at the All Ireland Social Prescribing Network (AISPN) Conference in Dundalk.

Miriam submitted an abstract to the AISPN committee, which was successfully accepted, and she delivered a presentation entitled “Beyond Referral – Preventing Loneliness Through Participation and Community Connection.”

We are incredibly proud of Miriam’s achievement and grateful for the passion, commitment, and enthusiasm she brings to her work every day. We have no doubt that her presentation inspired meaningful conversations and highlighted the importance of fostering connection and belonging within our communities.

Well done, Miriam – a fantastic accomplishment! 🌟👏🍀

Islandeady Pole Walking Group will begin another free six-week course this Friday, June 5th, meeting at the GAA pitch at 10am. No booking is required and activator poles will be provided for beginners. The programme is aimed at older adults and is designed to be relaxed, supportive and suited to participants' individual abilities.
