Carlow County Council is delighted to confirm that lifeguards will be on duty at our 4 designated bathing areas from this weekend for the June Bank Holiday, with full coverage at all 4 areas from the beginning of July.

👨‍✈️ A team of 8 fully trained lifeguards will be working across the bathing areas this summer to help keep swimmers safe.

Bathing areas include Bagenalstown and Clashganny. More info on www.carlow.ie

⚠️ Please remember:
✅ Swim between the red and yellow flags
✅ Lifeguards are only on duty during designated times
✅ Supervise children at all times
✅ Never swim alone
✅ In an emergency call 112 or 999

ℹ️ lifeguards on duty from 2pm-8pm every weekend in June and 7 days a weeks in July and August.
