You are very welcome to join us for:

• Fashion has many negative environmental impacts. Refresh your wardrobe without buying new items of clothes at our Pop Up Swap Shop downstairs CSB on Wed 4th. Bring your good quality unwanted clothes between 9am – 11am. You will receive tokens to spend in the swap shop between 11am – 1.30pm.
• We are delighted to invite you to a special poster exhibition taking place on the ground floor of the CSB from Monday 2nd to Friday 6th, themed “Earth in the Age of AI.” This exhibition has been designed and created by SETU Carlow students from BSc Digital Marketing and Analytics (Year 1) and BA Content Creation and Social Media (Year 2) as part of their Creative Digital Media module and module assessment. The posters explore the intersection of artificial intelligence, sustainability, and our planet’s future—offering fresh perspectives, innovative ideas, and creative responses from our students. We warmly encourage you to stop by, support their work, and engage with the thought-provoking concepts on display. We look forward to seeing you there!

CCEN's 5th and final film of this environmental film series is taking place on Thursday 19th of February in the Visual Carlow at 7pm. They will be showing a number of short films on the topic of wetlands and wetland restoration, and this is being done in collaboration with the Drummin Bog Project.

The Wetlands: This film explores the vital role wetlands play in our ecosystems. It highlights the importance of wetland restoration and the value of Indigenous knowledge and skills in protecting these landscapes.
The Bog Song: This film follows the Drummin Bog Project, a voluntary community-led initiative working to restore County Carlow’s only remaining raised bog and other short films.
