💙Go Blue for Drowning Prevention 💙
It's time to Go Blue for Drowning Prevention!
Water Safety Ireland is calling on all our members to help us mark World Drowning Prevention Day (July 25th 2026) and raise awareness of this important issue.
Each year, we ask our members to "Go Blue" by wearing blue clothing, using blue face paint, decorating your workplace or club, or showing your support in any creative way you can think of. Then, send us your photos and help us spread the message far and wide.
This year, we want to highlight the power of community and connection. Water safety is not a solo mission. Drowning prevention requires all of us working together to create a culture where water safety is second nature.
Every conversation, every shared message and every act of support helps raise awareness and reinforces the simple fact that drowning is preventable.
💙So, grab something blue, gather your friends, teammates, colleagues or family, and let's all Go Blue for World Drowning Prevention Day.
📸Send us your selfies and photos and help us show that when we work together, we can make a difference.
🌊Unite to Turn the Tide. Because anyone can drown, but no one should.🌊
