A full and emotional practice tonight in Carlingford with the CPB but unfortunitally the last for two of our junior members, Esme, a now seasoned piper and Finian a junior drummer who are moving to Australia next week.
A small party was had and a presentation of Carlingford Pipe Band t-shirts to take them on their new chapter...
We wish them and their family a safe journey and a prosperous new life down under... They will be missed by us all in the family that is the Carlingford Pipe Band..
Esme and Finian are the grand children of Pipe Major Sean Rice.

Carlingford Pipe Band had the pleasure of playing at the Louth Senior Hurling Final today in Drogheda between Naomh Moninne and St. Fechin's with the Fechin's taking it by 2 points in the end.
This is the first outting where the CPB were playing their newly bought bagpipes with thanks from the grant aid through The Music Capital Scheme through the MusicNetwork

Carlingford Pipe Band are delighted and extremely greatful to have been awarded grant funding through Music Capital scheme.
This funding will help the Pipe Band purchase a number of new sets of Bag Pipes so as to enable the band continue the piping tradition in the Carlingford area for many more years to come.
