South Tipperary Development Company, in association with Tipperary LCDC, was delighted to formally sign the LEADER grant agreement with WM O'Donnell Engineering Ltd in Emly.

The funding will support the purchase of a new 12kW Fibre Laser Cutting System.



This is a great example of the difference LEADER can make in terms of supporting local businesses to invest and develop while helping to sustain employment in our local communities.

We're delighted to be involved in supporting this valuable community initiative and look forward to seeing the plan take shape in 2027.

Last evening,Emly Village SMART Group, Ciaran Lynch(CEO ) Community engagement Partners , Steve O’Donoghue (Research officer , Sustainability Research Institute in TUS ) and Tony Scully from South Tipperary Development Committee met together for a final time as we finalised our planning programme with the TUS team. We look forward to launching our plan for 2027 in January. Sincere thanks to Ciaran and Steve and Tony for their expertise and support.
