Massive day in the Carlisle Grounds as our Walking Footballers hosted the first ever round of competitive Walking Football fixtures in the Bray as part of the Irish Walking Football League and AUL Competition.

We were delighted to welcome teams from Shelbourne FC, St. Patrick’s Athletic FC and Hartstown/Huntstown FC.

A wonderful day of football with great weather, great support and some top notch football on the hallowed turf of the Carlisle Grounds alongside some well earned hospitality afterwards. Big thanks to Four Star Pizza for looking after us and to all of the families who sorted us out with a serious spread of assorted cakes, sambos, and treats. 💚

Bray Wanderers welcomes anyone over 50 years of age to get involved on Tuesday mornings 11-12 in the Carlisle. Give Dermot/Daisy a shout [email protected] for more info.

There was a BIG event in Bray today!
Bray Walking Wanderers hosted a friendly blitz up in Shoreline which included our friends from St. Pats and our new friends London Barbarians who travelled to Ireland for a Walking Football tour!
A fantastic day with top notch football and a great spirit across all of the teams. 👏🏻⚽️
Oh I think the Airshow was also on in Bray today so there was another biggish event on too! 😉

A brilliant day for our Down Syndrome Futsal Squad who played in the Cairdeas Cup today organised by the FAI/LOI.
Huge credit to the lads and their families for the commitment they’ve shown.
As a club we are bursting with pride because of the way these players carry themselves on the pitch, off the pitch, at training, in the dressing room and regardless of what the scorelines are, everyone gave 100% and we even found time for craic every step of the way! It’s an absolute pleasure to be around these guys. 🙏🏻
Big thanks to Garrett O’Donohoe who takes a lead role in organising our DS Futsal.

A very significant day for our club as the Bray Walking Wanderers Over 60’s team played their first round of games in the inaugural Irish Walking Football League.
Phenomenal performances over the 3 matches gave us wins against Hartstown/Huntstown and St. Pats with a narrow defeat against Shels.
A magnificent day to go out to the AUL and celebrate the beautiful game! ⚽️👌🏻
Massive congrats to the players, the gaffers and huge gratitude to Bray Wanderers who have supported the growth of Walking Football every step of the way!
On to the next round of games for the senior Seagulls!
