Once again, we are blown away by the generosity of our town of Blessington 💓

We are so grateful to all who donated duvets, blankets, jackets, shoes, clothes, etc. They've helped to comfort and clothe our friends in Crooksling and will continue to do so as temperatures drop once again.

If you're thinking of donating, please be aware that the drop-off point has changed to Coimín Centre Parish Office on Blessington Main Street, open Monday to Friday between 9am - 1pm.

Still reeling from the success of our event on Sunday which brought together our diverse community, including new neighbours from Palestine, Jordan, Afghanistan, Nigeria, Somalia, Ukraine and more.

We had tea, cake, singing and dancing from around the world. It was truly special and we feel a deep sense our pride in our fantastic community of Blessington.

Thanks to all the volunteers, to the church for the use of St Joseph's Hall and to all of those who attended and made it so special.

200 people attended a tea party organised by Blessington Welcomes in St Joseph’s Hall as a celebration of unity, culture and togetherness.

Our friends in Crooksling Emergency Accommodation Centre are being forced to live in tents with leaking roofs and soaking wet beds in freezing conditions. They need our help as temperatures plummet.

Please let us know if you have any of the items listed to donate. All donations must be clean and in good condition.
