We would like to thank the team in Liffey Distributors for sourcing the replacement tyre for the ride-on mower as there was none in Ireland.

Thank you to Dave McCann Tyres for replacing the tyres.

A massive thank you to the residents who donated back in June for the repairs. Your support as always is extremely appreciated.

This week we had numerous down pours and a few roads flooded due to shores been blocked further up the road.

As we had very little rain the last week months the soil is solid as a result the water is flowing off the fields onto the roads.

We ask residents to help keep the shores clear from grass, plastic, leaves and litter to allow water flow into the drainage system.

Thank you.

Last week we tackled some of the overgrowth in the Memorial area.

We will keep at it as it takes time and effort. We ask residents to stop dumping their garden waste in the memorial area against the walls.

Over a period of five years our neighbouring estate have done amazing work transforming utility box's. Time, effort, funding, personal funds all destroyed by one clown 🤡 .

The clown pictured below is travelling on a pushbike and was spotted ruining the work of Blakestown Drive Community Group, an extremely hard working community group.

Does anyone recognise this individual? If so please contact our community Garda on 016667020.

Scoil Mhuire Senior School Needs Your Support 🏫

Scoil Mhuire Senior School is reaching out to our wonderful community for support in helping us raise funds to refresh the inside of our school.

Each year, schools receive different funding schemes for maintenance and improvement works. Unfortunately, this year no funding has been allocated for painting, leaving several areas of our school in need of attention.

The funds raised will help us to:

🖌️ Repaint the classroom toilets and carry out minor repairs.

🏀 Give our PE hall a much-needed facelift after radiators were replaced, leaving walls in need of repair and in need of a fresh coat of paint.

🚪 Repaint skirting boards, door frames and other woodwork where the paint has peeled and become worn over time.

🔨 Repair and fill the holes left behind following previous radiator replacement works.

We know that times are difficult for many families, and we truly appreciate that every household is facing increased costs. However, if you are in a position to make a small donation, no matter how little, it would make a real difference to our pupils and help us create a brighter, cleaner and more welcoming learning environment.

Every euro brings us one step closer to our goal, and every donation—big or small—is greatly appreciated.

❤️ Thank you for supporting our school and investing in the future of our children. Together, we can make a lasting difference for every pupil who walks through our doors.

Please stay calm. There is wet stuff falling from the sky, its been a while but this is called "rain".

No need to panic, the grass definitely needs it as its yellow.

Please note rain dances are forbidden in Summer.

The disrespect towards the hard work to improve our community is sad for the individuals who carried out the destruction.

This project took a lot of time to organise and fund by our neighbouring estate Blakestown Drive Community Group .
