Thank you so much for having us! ❤️

It was a pleasure for the Meath Coast Community First Responders team to come along and deliver the workshop. We had a fantastic evening, and it was brilliant to see such a great turnout and so many people getting involved.

Learning CPR and other lifesaving skills can make a real difference when every second counts, and we’re always delighted to share these skills within our local community. 💚

A huge thank you to everyone who took part and made us feel so welcome. 👏🚑

🚑 More lifesaving equipment for Meath Coast CFR! ❤️

Meath Coast Community First Responders are delighted to have received two new mobile defibrillators for our volunteer responders to carry in their vehicles.

Having mobile defibrillators means our responders can travel directly to someone in cardiac arrest, without having to stop along the way to retrieve a Public Access Defibrillator helping us get lifesaving equipment to a patient as quickly as possible when every second counts.

These two new defibrillators bring us to 12 mobile defibrillators across our group of 22 volunteers, helping strengthen our coverage throughout the communities we serve.

A huge thank you to Cllr. Maria White, who provided the funding for these defibrillators through her discretionary funding from both last year and this year. We are extremely grateful for her continued support of Meath Coast CFR and our work in the community. 💚

Local volunteers. Local equipment. Saving lives in our community. 🚑❤️

What a fantastic day yesterday! ☀️❤️

Volunteers from Meath Coast CFR were delighted to join in the fun at the Mornington Court Family Fun Day. We had a brilliant time showing members of our local community how to perform life-saving CPR and use an AED.
It was wonderful to see so much enthusiasm—especially from the little ones who jumped right in to give it a go! 🩺 Hands-on skills like these truly make a difference.
A massive THANK YOU to the Mornington Court community for having us back for the second year in a row, and for your fantastic, ongoing support as always. We love being part of such an amazing community! 🙌✨

🚨 Another Public Access Defibrillator for Our Community 🚨

Meath Coast Community First Responders are delighted to announce that, thanks to the generosity of Laytown - Bettystown Golf Club, their clubhouse defibrillator is now publicly accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

This AED is unlocked and available for use by any member of the public in the event of a medical emergency, it is just to the right of the main doors of the club.

The defibrillator has also been registered with the National Ambulance Service (NAS), meaning that if you call 999 or 112, the Emergency Medical Controller can direct you to its location if it is the nearest available defibrillator. 🚑

The defibrillator will be regularly inspected and maintained by our dedicated Meath Coast CFR volunteers to ensure it is always rescue-ready.

A huge thank you to General Manager & PGA Professional Gavin Byrne and everyone at Bettystown & Laytown Golf Club for their support and commitment to helping make our community a safer place.

You can view this and all of our other public access defibrillators across the community by visiting our interactive map:

Every publicly accessible defibrillator has the potential to save a life. Together, we're strengthening the chain of survival across our community. 💚
