Always ask for ID before letting anyone onto your property.

“AFTER the lads saw there was someone home they came back out front and knocked on the front door. When asked for ID they said they didn't have any. The only equipment we saw them carrying was a Spirit Level (what use would that be?), so we told them they couldn't come in and they went off.

I'd happily help someone doing official work, but, you hear stories right?”
