For those of you who sadly won't be able to make Bantry this weekend, we share your disappointment, it promises to be a fabulous weekend of Great Colour, Great Sounds, Great Spectacle, Great Rowing, Great Rivalries and Renwed Camaraderie.
But not to worry, we have your back.

So not being able to be in Bantry is no longer an excuse for missing all the action and spectacle of the All-Ireland Championships.

Join us every Tuesday and Thursday at 11:00am for a FREE Guided Heritage Walk, departing from the Bantry Tourist Office, Wolfe Tone Square.

Led by one of our knowledgeable local volunteers, these walks are a wonderful opportunity to explore the rich history, fascinating stories, and hidden gems that make Bantry such a special place.

Whether you're visiting West Cork for the first time or you're a local looking to see the town through fresh eyes, everyone is welcome!

Spirit of Discovery sails into Bantry Bay tomorrow as cruise activity continues across the bay throughout June.

Scheduled calls at both Bantry Inner and Bantry Outer anchorages will see vessels including Spirit of Discovery and Le Champlain supported by our marine operations teams, ensuring safe and efficient movements for cruise guests visiting West Cork.

Following a successful visit by Deutschland earlier this week, cruise calls continue to deliver valuable economic benefits to local businesses, attractions and communities, contributing to a strong 2026 season for the region.

As a mark of respect to the late Kathleen O’Sullivan Sea View House Hotel the Bantry Tourist Office will close tomorrow from 12.45 to 1.45. RIP
