Ballymun Regional Youth Resource CLG (BRYR) (Company No: 375435 / RCN: 200534

20 / CHY: 15461) is a professional youth work organisation working for the welfare, development and well-being of all 10-24-year-old young people in the community of Ballymun. BRYR's mission is to empower young people to reach their full potential, by putting in place a range of resources that will support them to make a happy, healthy and successful transition to adulthood, and promoting health, well-being and resilience at all stages of their development. It is a safe, convivial space and is now used by approx 700 young people each week. To date BRYR has expanded to become one of the largest community-based, voluntary-led youth services in the city of Dublin. Our success is mainly due to the level of strong local governance, the development of good youth-centred policy and practice, the presence and direction of a voluntary Board of Directors with a specific knowledge and appreciation of local needs, a professionally trained team, and, an ability to direct its resources to the target group - both in a responsive and strategic manner - where and when required. Several years on and BRYR's work remains true to the wishes of the local community by maintaining a clear focus on the target group, and in particular a focus on those young people who need our support most.
