Thank you so much to everyone who attended our Summer Luncheon. We hope you had an amazing day.

Today’s event has raised over €140,000 and counting!

Last week, we hosted a special mid-week camp at Barretstown with support from Jack and Jill Children's Foundation . Children, parents, and siblings participated in a range of activities, creating magical memories together that will last a lifetime 🧡

Our therapeutic camps and programmes give children and families affected by serious illness the chance to rebuild confidence, independence, and self-esteem in a safe and supportive environment.

Huge thanks to Jack and Jill for making this special experience possible.

Meet Holly

Holly was born with half a heart.

To see her today, you might never imagine the open-heart surgeries she had before the age of 3... or the heart transplant she went through at age 5.

But it’s because of friends like you that Holly has a place where her heart can belong. A place where she doesn’t have to worry that she isn’t fast enough or strong enough or that she doesn’t fit in.

At Barretstown she can just be Holly, filled with her own confidence and light. It’s a gift her family hopes with all their hearts you could give to a child with serious illness today – through your donation for the gift of time at Barretstown.

On June 13th (10am-4pm), Barretstown is opening its doors for a relaxed day of connection, activities, and community — and everyone is welcome. This day is all about you, our incredible volunteers, and the people who might want to become part of our community.

Whether you’re a long-time volunteer bringing someone along, or completely new and curious to see what Barretstown is all about, we’d love to have you there.

We’ll also have transport available from Heuston Station, making it easy to join us.

A huge thank you to all our incredible sponsors, supporters and suppliers for helping make the 12th Dublin Mountains Challenge such a huge success! 👏⛰️

We want to extend a massive thank you to Dublin Civil Defence and An Garda Síochána for their invaluable support in helping us run the event safely and smoothly, and of course to our main sponsor Lucozade Sport for their continued support.

Our amazing goodie bags were very kindly supported by Holland & Barrett and their suppliers — Blynk Drinks, All Real Nutrition, Electro Wave and Nuasan

A big shoutout as well to Good4U, Krispy Kreme and United Hardware for their generous donations which supported our participants and volunteers.

Thank you to Brady's of Shankill for hosting our fantastic 42km finish line and serving up a delicious barbecue for participants after an incredible day on the trails.
