Singles Tournament Finals – A Fantastic Evening of Competition!

Friday, May 15th saw the exciting finals of our Singles Tournament, with two fantastic matches taking place in front of a wonderful crowd of supporters.

First up, Hannah faced Olivia in a closely contested game, with Olivia emerging victorious.
Our second final saw Mary take on Rita, with Rita claiming the title following another excellent match.

Congratulations and well done to all of our participants for making the tournament such a success. A special word of thanks also goes to Paula and Emily for all their hard work in organising such a fantastic event.

Lesson Details:
📅 Start Date: Friday 6th February - 13th March.
📍 Location: Ballyhooly Tennis Club
⏳ Duration: 6 weeks
🕒 Days & Times: 3.15 pm - 6pm (This will be dependent on age and ability)(lessons for younger age group will be 45 mins and older age group will be an hour)

The conclusion of the Autumn finals saw a very competitively fought Division C final tonght. A match brimming with great tennis, long rallies and great sportsmanship. The winning team was eventually only decided by a tie-breaker with Raminta and Gill eventually coming out victorious over Mary and Eilish. Well done ladies, keep up the great work.

Autumn Tournament

Our Autumn Tennis Tournament came to a thrilling conclusion on Thursday evening, wrapping up the season with a fantastic night of competitive matches and great sportsmanship.

In Division A, the dynamic duo Kay and Maurice emerged victorious after a closely contested match against Luke and Fiona. Over in Division B, Hannah and Gina claimed the top spot, overcoming strong opposition from Paula and Clodagh.

A warm thank you goes out to all who came along to support the players on finals night.

We extend a special thanks to our tournament organisers, Majella and Joanne, for their hard work and dedication in bringing this wonderful event together.

🎾 Summer Tournament Finals Recap! ☀️

What a fantastic night of tennis we had at last night’s Summer Tournament Finals! Despite some challenging weather conditions, everyone played brilliantly and treated us to two thrilling matches — both going right down to the wire with championship tie-breaks! 🌦️🔥
A huge thank you to our amazing organisers Kay and Suzanne for putting together such an enjoyable and well-run tournament 👏
