Ballyfermot Youth Service At BYS, we work to promote positive involvement of young people within our community by providing educational and recreational programmes.

Registered Charity Number 20150532 We are committed to addressing the needs of the young people in Ballyfermot. Our diverse range of programmes are planned and developed to equip all our participants with the necessary life skills to face the challenges of today. We aim to provide support for the development of our youth through local, national and international programmes.

Day 2 My head is a jungle youth exchange at Drewstown house. Today we participated in mental wellbeing activities delivered by our Hungarian.italian and Spanish partners. These workshops were designed to build confidence and communication skills without using technology. In the afternoon we all thoroughly enjoyed Irish folk dancing activities with the brilliant Rita. Day 1 My Head is a Jungle the last part of our multilateral youth exchange with Spain Hungary and italy. We are hosting this project in the beautiful Drewstown house. Day 1 we had a variety of activities and workshops based on mental wellbeing and social interaction, using the lake and the forest we developed workshops to encourage trust build confidence. Day 1 of the final part of our multilateral youth exchange with Italy, Spain and Hungary. Using outdoor education and trust building activities we participated in a number of workshops using reflective practice. Citizens of Europe Youth Exchange - Final day on route back to Dublin. What a fantastic few days! Making new friends, learning new life skills, building confidence and stepping way outside their comfort zone. There were challenges that definitely tested the nerves, but they overcame them and heading home feeling stronger and more confident than ever.
A huge thank you to Killary Adventure Co. for an amazing experience, unforgettable memories and plenty of laughs along the way!
