‼️INFORMATION SHARING‼️
A+K Casting are casting a new ad campaign.

Who we’re casting:

A BOY aged 7-9 with a REGIONAL IRISH ACCENT
No acting experience needed
He’s not polished or precocious. An old soul. Confident and kind. A great imagination. Maybe a little mischievous.
He might have very short or shaved hair though not necessarily.
(All applications for minors must be made by a parent or guardian).

A Man aged 50s to early 60s with a REGIONAL OR NEUTRAL IRISH ACCENT
Would preferably have some acting experience

A Delivery Driver Male or Female identifying aged mid to late 30s
No acting experience needed but must have a full driver’s licence

V nice fee if selected.

They would need to be avail for the shoot (1-3 days) on 29th and 30th of September (day shoots) and 5th October (night shoot).

The Balor DCA offers our sincere condolences to the family and friends of John Gallagher. John was a founding member of the DCA over 25 years ago and he played a vital role in acquiring funding for our company at its formation & throughout the years. John also took to the stage in DCA productions, in a number of Sam Cree comedies and dramas such as Tomas Mac Anna’s “A Winter Wedding”.

John had a great love for his local community, evident in all the local groups and projects he helped to source funding. He will be deeply missed not just by his family & friends but also by the wider Glenfin & the Twin Towns communities.

John's Remains will repose at his home in Ardlaghan from 6pm-9pm on Monday, 24th August and from 1pm-9pm on Tuesday 25th August. Family time only after the Rosary and on the morning of the funeral. Requiem Mass at 1 pm on Wednesday , 26th August, in The Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Glenfin, (F93 FH98), with burial afterwards in Cill Mhuire Cemetery.. The Funeral Mass can be viewed on the Parish We**am.
The Rosary will be nightly at 9 pm. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired, to Ionad Pobail Ghleann Fhinne, c/o any family member. Ionad Pobail Ghleann Fhinne is a much beloved Community Centre in Glenfin that John helped fund.

Auditions for this year panto ‘ Cinderella 2 – The Sisters Revenge” directed by JC, will
be held on Tuesday 18th August @ 7.30 in the theatre.

The main cast include 9 males and 4
females, plus many minor roles/ adult chorus,

After seven weeks of rehearsals, one week of shows, incredible audiences, standing ovations and so many unforgettable moments, tonight we get to do it all one last time.

So let’s fill the Balor one final time, give our amazing cast the audience they deserve and go out with one almighty bang!
