Learn more about living with Dementia this Friday 22nd May at 8pm in Cahans Meeting House

🎶 An Evening of Music, Insight, and Hope: Living With Dementia - Fri 22 May 2026 8pm💙

Dementia doesn’t just affect one person; it impacts entire families and our whole community. This month, we’ve been incredibly inspired by The FTD Brothers - Jordan Adams and Cian Adams. They just hit a massive £1 million milestone in their mission to raise awareness for Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD). Their courage reminds us why coming together to talk, learn, and support one another is so vital.

We invite you to join us for our own local evening of reflection and connection.

Whether you are living with dementia, caring for a loved one, or simply want to learn how to be a more supportive neighbour or friend, all are very welcome.
Let’s build a more inclusive community together!

The next gathering at Cahans Meeting House (H18 E7N1 eircode) will be on Friday 20 March at 8pm when Linda Ervine MBE from East Belfast will tell about Turas, an Irish language project in East Belfast. She is a language rights activist, an Ulster Irish speaker and a supporter of the Gaelic revival. She leads the Turas project which aims to connect people from Protestant communities to their own history with the Irish language. There will also be a musical element to the evening, and supper!
