March For Life Ireland

March For Life Ireland 💙 Join us for the March for Life 2025 in Dublin on 5th May at 2:00pm. 💙 Let’s make this the biggest March yet! 💪

Shining a spotlight on Ireland’s abortion law and calling for positive supports for mothers. The silence surrounding the devastating impact of Ireland's new abortion law has to end. Standing United to Deliver Change in Ireland

In the first two years since the law took effect, 13,243 legal abortions were performed. It represents a 70+% increase in abortions in just two years, a fa

r cry from what the Government promised. The fast-track system for accessing abortions that now exists leaves little room for women contemplating abortion to be informed about other options. Also, women who regret their abortions and healthcare workers who are being pressured to assist in abortions are counting on us to stand in solidarity with them. The pro-life movement represents 1 in 3 voters (34% of the electorate)*
on abortion. It's utterly untenable the way the Government excludes pro-life representatives from the decision making process. It’s time to raise our voices loudly and persistently to bring about change. Help ensure the regional events in May are a huge success! Please make every effort to be present and encourage family and friends to do likewise.

*Based on results of 2018 abortion referendum.

With just over a week to go until the March for Life in Dublin, we’re counting on you to be with us on the day!

The march is far more than just another date in the calendar - this annual event is making a real difference in strengthening the pro-life movement, energising volunteers, and reminding our political leaders that the call for alternatives to abortion to be prioritised cannot be ignored.

As well as being present on the day, please spread the word to family and friends to be part of this great day - Bank Holiday Monday, 4th May, at St Stephen’s Green at 2pm. It’s a chance for all of us to stand in solidarity, to be encouraged, and to play our part in creating change.

We’re really looking forward to seeing you there!

We’re delighted to announce the fourth guest speaker who will be joining us at the upcoming March for Life in Dublin on Bank Holiday Monday, 4th May! We will be announcing the full list of guest speakers over the coming weeks.

Emmet Dooley, SPUC (Scotland) Director of Education and Outreach, is making a remarkable impact in engaging young people on the pro-life issue. Over the past year, among other things, Emmet - who hails from Ireland - delivered 168 presentations to schools across the UK.

We’re delighted to announce another guest speaker who will be joining us at the upcoming March for Life in Dublin on Bank Holiday Monday, 4th May!

Councillor Ellen Troy of Aontú, who serves on Fingal County Council, has built a strong reputation as a committed community activist, supporting a wide range of initiatives across the greater Dublin 15 area. A consistent and fearless voice on pro-life issues, she also champions supports for women facing an unplanned pregnancy. After narrowly missing out on a Dáil seat in the most recent general election, she is very well positioned to make the breakthrough next time around!
