This evening, Laois Macra held our first Farm Walk of the year. Thank you to everyone who came along and took part.

A huge thank you to the Walsh family for opening their farm to us and for sharing their knowledge, hospitality, and expertise. We are very grateful for the opportunity and thoroughly enjoyed the evening!

Join us on Wednesday, 17th June at 7:30pm for a Farm Walk on Pat Walsh's farm in Durrow.

Pat runs a highly regarded grass-based dairy system, and the evening will be a great chance to see the farm, hear about the operation, and chat with other farmers.

Today, the County Rounds of Farm Skills and Poc Fada were hosted by Árd Éireann Macra at Lalor's Farm.

Well done to the Árd Éireann Farm Skills Team on securing their place in the next round. We wish them the very best of luck as they continue their journey.

Congratulations also to Michelle Lalor (Árd Éireann Macra) and Dean Dowling (Mountmellick Macra) on winning the Poc Fada County Finals and earning their place in the finals.

Thank you to the Lalor family for looking after us so well today, and to Pauric for adjudicating.

The Poc Fada will take place following the Farm Skills Competition, which begins at 1:00pm, also in Lalor's Farm.

A huge well done to Katie Mulligan for proudly representing her club and county at this year's Blue Jeans Festival in Athboy, Co. Meath!

It was a fantastic weekend, thoroughly enjoyed by all our members, with plenty of memories made along the way.

A big thank you to everyone who attended the County Round of Dairy Stockjudging last night.

Congratulations to Enda Feighery of Mountmellick Macra on taking first place, and well done to Niamh Feighery on coming second.

A sincere thank you to Paul and David Hyland for hosting and judging the competition, and to Ard Éireann Macra for hosting the event.
