Two County Wicklow Partnership projects — two Pride of Place finalists!

We're thrilled to share that not one, but two County Wicklow Partnership projects have been named finalists in this year's IPB Pride of Place Awards:

Made in Wicklow — finalist in the Creative Communities category, representing our county's craft and creative sector

Helping Hands Care and Repair — part of our Age Friendly Communities programme, supporting older, vulnerable and isolated people across south Wicklow to live safely and independently in their own homes

Two very different projects, one shared belief: that real community development means showing up for people, in every form that takes — whether that's through craft, connection, or a helping hand at home.

Congratulations to both teams, and best of luck representing to the Pride of Place judges this coming Wednesday at Powerscourt !

County Wicklow Libraries, in collaboration with Wicklow Partnership’s Community Connection project, are inviting everyone to come along for a special film showcase this Refugee Week, June 15-21.

Enjoy curated films from across our world, shown at libraries throughout the county. It’s free to attend and a great chance to connect, learn, and share stories together.

County Wicklow Partnership is pleased to announce the appointment of Kay O'Connor as Chief Executive Officer.

Following a competitive recruitment process, the Board is delighted to confirm Kay's appointment as the organisation enters an important new chapter.

Kay has extensive experience in the local development sector and has served as Social Inclusion Manager within County Wicklow Partnership, where she led major national programmes and fostered partnerships across the county.

We look forward to working with Kay as she leads County Wicklow Partnership in delivering our Strategic Plan and continuing to support individuals, families, and communities throughout Wicklow.
