Daingean Youth Club

Daingean Youth Club Daingean Youth Club delivers a range of programmes, events and services to young people aged 10 - 18 years living in and around the Daingean community.

Daingean Youth Club is a voluntary organisation affiliated to Midlands Regional Youth Service and Youth Work Ireland. We are fully committed to the youth work process as outlined in the Youth Work Act 2001 and we promote the values associated with the Critical Social Education Model of Youth Work. Our work is overseen by a Volunteer Management Committee made up of local people with an interest in

youth development. We provide a range of services to young people aged 10 - 18 years living in and around the Daingean community including:
After-school Study
Snr. Youth Club
Jnr. Youth Club
Summer projects
Special interest groups (drama, adventure, music, dance, and art)

Opening Hours:
Junior Club (5th & 6th Class) Mondays 6.30 pm - 8.00 pm
Senior Club (Post Primary) Fridays 6.30 pm - 8.00 pm
After School Project (Post Primary) Tuesdays & Thursdays 4.00 pm - 6.30 pm

Due to a shortage of volunteer leaders there will be no youth club this evening. We regret any inconvenience this may cause.

Due to circumstances beyond our control we have no option but to postpone our Juniors' trip to Funderland tomorrow. We apologise for any inconvenience or disappointment caused. The Club will resume on Monday evening and we'll have details on the rescheduled trip then. Please help spread the word.

We urgently need helpers for our Flag Day at Tesco Tullamore & Tesco Edenderry this Saturday, if you're available to help out between 10am and 6pm at either store please get in touch. The flag day is a partnership between Irish Youth Foundation and Cappagh Hospital with 50% of the funds raised going to Daingean Youth Club. Daingean Youth Club's AGM for the 2014/2015 club term took place last Friday. The management committee for the 2015/2016 are Padraig McGrath (Chairperson), Orla Brennan (Vice-chairperson), Michael Daly (Secretary), Ann Sheeran (Assistant Secretary), Claire Moran (Treasurer), Michael McGrath (Assistant Treasurer), Gemma McCarron & Clara Brennan. It's that time of year again folks! Registration for the 2015/2016 Club Term takes place in Daingean Town Hall on Friday, 11th & Monday, 14th September 7pm - 8pm. The membership fee is €10 per child. All young people must be accompanied by an adult. New members are welcome!
