Please be aware that there have been reports of people going door-to-door offering tree cutting, roofing, driveway, and other house maintenance work.
Be cautious if you’re approached unexpectedly. Keep an eye out for suspicious vehicles in your area, and please check in on elderly or vulnerable neighbours who may be more likely to feel pressured.
If someone calls to your door:
• Always ask for identification and business credentials.
• Never feel pressured into making an immediate decision.
• If you’re unsure, simply say no thank you and close the door.
• If you have any concerns or are unsure, contact your local Gardaí for advice or to report suspicious activity.
