Abbeyleix Community Employment Scheme Abbeyliex CE Scheme is run by Abbeyleix Parish Development Company which is a registered charity (Reg. No. 20018702011).

Abbeyleix Community Employment Scheme is a programme designed to help people who are long term unemployed (or otherwise disadvantaged) to get back to work by offering part time and temporary placements in jobs based within local communities. Our main purpose is to benefit the community through advancement of community welfare including the relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-healt

h, or disability. We also aim to integration of those who are disadvantaged, and the promote of their full participation in society. We do this while protecting the natural environment and endeavoring to advance environmental sustainability.
