Wildlife Crimes Unit SCENTS's Wildlife Crimes Unit is law enforcement collaboration unit to combat illegal wildlife trafficking in Indonesia.

WCU assist the Indonesian authorities to gather information on illegal wildlife trafficking, conduct technical assistant to arrest the criminals, assist judicial processes to create deterrent effect, and engage journalist and media publication to raise wildlife campaigns. WCU also influent Indonesian government to strengthen wildlife protection regulations.

Sumatran striped rabbit in danger. Thailand's authority currently confiscated protected species in Indonesia, inclusing 3 Sumatran striped rabbits and 2 gibbons. Sumatran striped rabbit is very rare and difficult to find in the wild, with restricted habitat distribution in Sumatra. The smuggling of this rabbit was also revealed in India in April 2025. SCENTS' Wildlife Crimes Unit calls the authority in Indonesia and Thailand should work together to reveal the criminal network and routes.
