28th June 2020 - Been absent in preaching sermon for from 13 October 2019, 8 months, 15 days. Last schedule was on 22nd March 2020, 3 months 6 days. That day was when City officials decided to close any Religious activities because of the start of Corona pandemic. Grateful to be back in delivering sermon for God’s trusted flocks . He allow me to experience Fire as reminder to remember His Goodness and Glory. This one titled “After Fire” From 1 Peter 5:1-11

Peter has been experiencing 2 fire events in His life that changes His life totally because of What Jesus had done to HIM, that is His Grace. First fire is when Peter denied Jesus 3 times and it was HIS biggest failure in following Christ, but then the second fire was when Jesus prepared fish for Peter in the shore of Galilee sea when Jesus asked him 3 times if Peter loves HIM, and 3 times Jesus trusted Peter to feed HIS sheeps.

After this two Fire, Peter was used for the Glory pf God where he preached for over 3000 people repented.

Therefore at the end of his ministry life, He encouraged all of believers that What Jesus had done to him, changed him from Boaster to Believer, is the power to experience sufferings as the Glory of God awaits at the end of it. What Jesus had done to Peter should direct us to embrace Humility and Faith, because this is HIS divine nature to be shared to us

Verse 10 and 11 is the Good news for all of us Believers

“And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. To him be the dominion forever and ever. Amen.”
