Where Inclusion Comes to Life: Allianz and ASA Foundation Unite Through Sport and Education

Laughter, movement, and the spirit of togetherness filled the day as Allianz and ASA Foundation came together to present the Festival Inclusion Allianz x ASA Foundation on Thursday, April 30, 2026. ✨

From the very beginning, the energy was undeniable. Joined by 50 dedicated special education teachers, 100 enthusiastic students from Ulaka Penca Special School and SLBN 1, 35 passionate Allianz volunteers and staff, alongside 4 coaches and facilitators from ASA Foundation, the event became more than just a gathering it became a celebration of inclusion, confidence, and connection.

The day started with a lively aerobic session, where smiles and excitement instantly brought everyone together. The atmosphere continued to grow during the mini football competition, as participants encouraged one another, embraced teamwork, and celebrated every moment on the field.

Beyond the activities, participants also took part in a financial literacy seminar, opening conversations about building essential knowledge and preparing for a brighter future.

What made the festival truly meaningful was the enthusiasm shared by every individual involved. Every cheer, every interaction, and every moment reflected one powerful message: inclusion creates opportunities for everyone to grow, participate, and shine together.

Through initiatives like this, Allianz and ASA Foundation continue to believe in the power of sport, education, and collaboration to create lasting social impact. 🤝✨

On 18–19 April 2026, the S.A.F.E. (Sport Against Female Exploitation) Project conducted a Training of Trainee Refresher Workshop in Jakarta, bringing together 30 male and female sport teachers from across Greater Jakarta.

The workshop was attended by Kaixin, Marketing Manager of Decathlon Indonesia, Monica from Talk Cloud, and also Fatur representing Decathlon. The sessions were facilitated by ASA Foundation’s Master Coaches, Coach Tian and Coach Stella.

Over two days, the workshop focused on strengthening teachers’ capacity as S.A.F.E. facilitators through reflection, skills reinforcement, and practical sport for education development application. Key topics included gender equality, gender-based violence (GBV) prevention, safe space facilitation, and appropriate, trauma-informed responses to student disclosures.

Participants also engaged in Edu-Sport activities (futsal, basketball, and volleyball) designed to promote gender equality, prevention of violence, inclusion, teamwork, leadership, and respectful behavior among students.

This workshop supports teachers in delivering more effective, inclusive, and safe learning environments, while reinforcing the role of sport as a tool to prevent GBV and empower young people.

On 16 April 2026, the S.A.F.E. (Sport Against Female Exploitation) project was implemented through a school visit at SMAN 59 Jakarta, engaging students in structured, inclusive sport-based learning.

The session was facilitated by ASA Foundation’s Master Coach, Coach Tian, supported by a volunteer from Decathlon Foundation, Kak Fatur, and accompanied by Mr. Iqbal, the school’s physical education teacher. A total of 36 students (18 boys and 18 girls) participated actively in the session.

Through futsal-based drills, participants were introduced to key values of the S.A.F.E. project, including gender equality, prevention of violence, teamwork, leadership, and mutual respect. The activities were designed to create equal participation opportunities, encourage collaboration across genders, and challenge existing stereotypes related to physical ability.

This initiative reflects a continued commitment to using sport as a platform for education, empowerment, and the prevention of gender-based discrimination and exploitation among young people.

Introducing Goals for Good! ⚽🌱

Across Indonesia, many children still face barriers to safe and inclusive participation in sport. From limited access for girls and children with disabilities to gaps in safeguarding and growing environmental challenges, the need for change is clear.

Led by the ASA Foundation in partnership with the AFC Dream Asia Foundation, and aligned with United Nations Football for the Goals, this 12-month pilot uses the power of football as a platform to promote inclusion 🤝, strengthen safeguarding 🛡️, support wellbeing 💙, and encourage sustainability 🌱.

As part of this initiative, we will train, educate, and empower 100 male and female teachers and coaches across Jakarta, including disability educators and practitioners — equipping them to create safer and more inclusive sporting environments for young people.

Designed as a learning initiative, Goals for Good aims to build evidence for creating safer, more inclusive, and sustainable communities through sport.

Stay tuned as we kick off the project in July and launch the workshops in August! 🚀

A proud and inspiring journey 💙

From witnessing the power of women’s football at the Women’s World Cup 2023 as a youth delegate, to now actively contributing at the AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2026. Nadhia’s journey is a true reflection of growth, passion, and purpose.

“I am thrilled to share that I have joined the AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2026 as a volunteer in Competition Operations and the Youth Program… Being part of a team that champions women’s leadership, gender equality, and youth development in football is incredibly meaningful.”

Her experience highlights how opportunities in sport can empower individuals to not only grow personally, but also contribute to a larger movement that supports women and youth in football.

At ASA Foundation, we are incredibly proud to see our representative playing an active role on such an international stage supporting match operations, engaging with youth programs, and contributing to the development of the next generation of players.

May this journey continue to inspire more young leaders to step forward, take opportunities, and be part of shaping a more inclusive and empowering future in sport 🌏✨

Behind every training session, every match, and every young player’s journey, there is a story of growth, learning, and impact. ⚽️✨

Between 30 January and 1 February 2026, the ASA Foundation visited the Jawa Power & YTL Elite U15 Football for Good Academy to listen, observe, and learn both on and off the pitch.

The MEL & Impact Report (Report 1, 2026) captures that journey: the progress made since our final 2025 visit, the dedication of coaches, the technical, physical, and behavioural development of players, and the challenges that will shape our work moving forward.

This report will serve as the baseline for our 2026 program cycle, guiding us as we continue to use football as a tool for positive change.

Excellent work by ASAF Master Trainer Wahyono Nano, and massive thanks to Wichard von Harrach, Andy Budiarto, Budhi Santoso, Sutrisno Wisnugroho, Hery Kusmadi, and Heru Prasetyohadi for all their support.
