We’re thrilled to have recently welcomed our partner, !🙌🌱

Marking the beginning of their commitment to tree planting with Trees4Trees this year, Teake visited the trees they have supported in our planting area in Sentul Village, Pati Regency, Central Java.

As the village lies on sloping land prone to erosion and drought, we are working together to increase tree cover. This not only helps reduce the risks of erosion, landslides, and water scarcity, especially during the dry season, but also supports local communities in strengthening their livelihoods through tree-based harvests.

It was a wonderful moment to spend time together with Teake, as well as with the local farmers we met along the way. Thank you for your visit and for planting trees with us. We look forward to growing even more impact together in the future!🌳🌳

Did you know? 🌍 Landslides don’t just happen. They are often caused by land left unprotected where a lack of tree cover weakens the soil and reduces its ability to stay in place. 🌱

Last year, one of our planting areas was hit by severe landslides and flooding, disrupting daily life and cutting off access to essential services for hundreds of people. 🚧

Today reminds us of one simple truth: we only have one Earth. 🌱

It’s our shared home, where we are deeply connected to animals, plants, and nature. But this balance is under pressure. Forests are disappearing, water sources are declining, and communities are facing growing challenges.

In Indonesia, protecting nature has long been part of daily life 🇮🇩 Passed down through generations, local communities live by wisdom that honors forests, safeguards water, and respects the land.

Our tree-planting in Kebumen this season has shown impressive results! 🌳😍

We’re excited to share that our team in Kebumen, Central Java, has completed post-planting monitoring, with over 92% of the trees delivered to our farmer partners growing healthy and thriving. 🌿

A huge thank you to our supporters and farmer partners who made this possible. We hope these trees continue to grow stronger and create lasting positive impacts for both the community and the environment surrounding the magnificent Kebumen Geopark. ⛰️🌍

Meet our women farmer partners from Pati, Central Java! 👋👩‍🦰😍

Ummi and Susanti are two women farmers from Medani Village who remain committed to farming while balancing the responsibilities of motherhood.

In Medani Village, one of Trees4Trees’ planting areas, it’s not only men who work in farming, women play an important role too. Their involvement not only helps improve family income but also strengthens the local economy and protects the surrounding environment.

Meet the Rasamala Tree!😍🌳🌳

In Indonesia, its young leaves are a favorite in Sundanese cuisine, often enjoyed fresh alongside traditional dishes.

But the rasamala tree offers more than culinary value! It also supports environmental conservation by preventing erosion and providing habitat for diverse wildlife, including Indonesian rare species like the javan eagle (elang jawa) and javan gibbon (owa jawa). 🦅🦅

We are excited to share that most of the trees we planted this season in the Citarum Watershed are thriving!🌱🌱

Following the completion of the planting, our field team recently finalized the monitoring process. Of all the trees distributed to local farmers, over 96% are growing healthy and strong.

We hope these trees will continue to flourish in the years ahead, delivering meaningful benefits for both the environment and local communities.
